Low-Interest Loans for Solar Water Heaters

The Kentucky Solar Partnership (KSP) and the Mountain Association for Community Economic Development (MACED) are partnering to offer low-interest loans for the installation of solar water heaters. Loans cover the full equipment and installation cost. Interest rates are fixed at 6.0%. All loans are to be repaid in monthly installments, with a fixed term of six years. [more]


Rebate Program for Solar Water Heaters Approves its Final Rebates

KSP's pilot program offering $500 rebates for solar water heaters issued its 25th and final rebate this month, one year after the program started. The rebates assisted many families to make the investment in solar energy for their homes. The popularity of the program has us seeking additional funding to continue and expand this valuable incentive. [more]
